Boat with the Blues

I only used 3 of the 5 shots from this HDR series due to movement of the boat. I really liked the blue of just about everything. The wood of the dock really came alive with the tone mapping. LYLE

At the End of the Dock

This is an early morning series of 5 HDR shots of the end of the pier. I wasn't too sure about the colors, I even tried to make it B&W but didn't like that either. Ann looked at it and thought it was "poster quality". Not sure about that but I decided it was good enough to post.  LYLE

Stairway 2 Home

I came across this entrance to the back units as I was walking around Georgetown, VA and just couldn't resist taking a 5 shot HDR of it (hand held). Look close enough and you can detect the movement of the leaves either caused by the breeze or hand shake. Shutter 1/30, 1/40, 1/60, 1/80, 1/320, f/4.5, ISO 800 at 26 mm. LYLE

Blue Brick House

This wonderful eave detail is on a house in Georgetown, VA. Danelle and Nich took me around to see some of the beautiful homes in the area. I shot this HDR handheld and five shots. Shutter 1/80, 1/60, 1/320, 1/640, 1/1250, f/5.6, ISO 800 at 85 mm. LYLE

Million Dollar Dock

This dock was on the property that Damon rented in Wilmington, NC. It is 1000 ft long and gave us a lot of exercise as we went back and forth from the house to the intercoastal waterway along the Atlantic Ocean. This is 4 of the 5 shots I took to make up the HDR. I threw out the most overexposed one. LYLE

The Band

This is a view down the pier in downtown Miami where we ate dinner. It is a JPEG converted from the RAW image. There was a band and singer playing some pretty rousing music. I shot it using f/9, 1.3 sec shutter, 1600 ISO, +3.3 step at 14 mm and center weighted average.  LYLE

Miami skyline

This was the skyline just a few blocks away from the hotel I was in last week. Miami is a very beautiful city in lots of areas. We went to the piers to eat and this was the view. This was three shots stitched together with Serif Panorama.  LYLE

An Oval View

I shot this 5 capture HDR through a concrete block fence. I thought the rustic oval border looked kinda cool. Sorry but I forgot to look at the file info before posting it. LYLE

Jefferson's Old RR River Bridge

I have tried to get this shot before but it was winter and with everything brown it didn't look good. I bracketed 3 exposures but didn't have my tripod with meand the HDR went to recycle bin this is the best one. F9.5 1/350 sec ISO 200 27mm  Bruce

A View of the Trail

This is another look at the trail to Lake Blanch. It is deceptively steep even if it doesn't look like it in this photo. Your heart will know you are in the mountains for at least two reasons: it is very beautiful and it is steep. Another HDR by LYLE

On the Trail

This is another shot of the trail to Lake Blanch. We are going to enjoy this part of Big Cottonwood Canyon. The water is running higher than I have ever seen it in this area.  It was even spilling over the trail and we had to wade through it. Another 5 shot HDR. LYLE

On the trail to Lake Blanch

On the trail to Lake Blanch in the Big Cottonwood Canyon is one that I have shown you before. I think we will need to go there while you are here. The spring runoff is at full flow right now. This is a five shot HDR. LYLE

Haunted Road 2

Here is another photo of  the old stagecoach road Leigh & I had a lot of fun shooting. This is just a couple of miles from my house but I seldom come here. This is a 3 exposure HDR and I made a B&W layler and levels layer to tone down the highlights. Bruce

HAUNTED Road!!!!

Ther is a rumor that ghosts live on this road. This is the Historical Shreveport to Marshall Stagecoach Road, as you can see it is still in use but hasn't ever been widened. f27 1/6 sec ISO200 92mm  Bruce
