Bowing Trees

These trees were showing me a lot of respect while I was on the nature trail and they bowed to me. I just had to take a picture of it so I could prove it. Bruce

What are you looking at?

These little flowers seem to be looking at us rather intently about something. Judi thinks they look like Yosemite Sam. We always have a bunch of them in our front yard. I shot it in manual at 1/2000 sec, f8. ISO250, 35mm with the 16-35 wide angle. They are on Temple Square here in SLC. LYLE

Wild Flower

I took this on our nature hike it is a single shot I tried a HDR but the wind was blowing so it didn't work I added the vignette in raw f20 1/40sec AP 112mm ISO160 Bruce

Tree on Martin Creek Lake

We went on a nature trail I shot this thinking it would make a great Photograph. The lighting was too bright and flattened everything out it wasn't very good at all. So I took all 4 exposures and made a HDR with them I then separated the tree and overhang and darkened them and then used the burn tool and burned in the overhang and far coastline it was hazy. After a little work it looks like I wanted it to.  Bruce

Stars? No, F150 yes

I don't know why but I shot the grill of my truck at night while camping. F 16 1/10sec 112mm ISO 800  Bruce

The Two Canoes

We went camping this past weekend and I got a few good exposures. We went for a hike on the trail at the campgrounds it led us by these boats. It made me wish I had one. I made 3 exposures and made a HDR but I liked the single shot better,  72mm  ISO160  f20  1/5sec  Bruce
