Work Line Wait
Here is a shot of that same sculpture that you thought looked to be only half there, I didn't disagree with you so I prepped this shot. I like it better for the statue but don't care much for the composure. And I also agree with you in that it looks like dad. I was completely stunned when I saw it the first time a couple of years ago and looked forward from that time to get the opportunity to take a shot of it. LYLE

Air Force Memorial
I arrived at this wonderful sulpture just as a group of architects that were attending the AIA Convention were on a tour there. I shot this between them and a group of young people that were there. This is one shot of a 5 shot HDR that was too dark to tonemap so I used just one of them. I shot it in aperture priority at .4 sec, ISO 3200, f/8, EV +1.4 and 16mm. That is the Washington Monument in the background. It represents the contrails of fighter jets as they curl up out of formation. LYLE

Hay Fever
I shot this about a month ago to show you spring was in the air. I didn't care for the photo and started playing with it and altered it in Photoscape. ISO 400 135mm macro 1/50 sec Bruce
Cats Claw Brier
I saw these beautiful unusual blooms and had to stop and shoot them. It took me two days to Identify them. When I shot them I didn't see the beetle or the inchworm. I also overlooked the thorns all I saw was the flowers. The beetle is the black spot in the middle bloom. This is a single exposure ISO 800 f16 135mm Macro 1/40 sec Manual Bruce
