Grape Splash over Black Rawhide

In this shot, like the next one, I dropped some grapes in the glass to create a splash. I set the camera at f/22, WB 7500K, ISO 100, 2 sec, and manual mode. I dropped the grapes and triggered the flash while Judi squeezed the shot off. All this on our dining room table, but trying to contain the mess in a cookie sheet. That was a lot of fun. LYLE

The Grapes of Splash

This is a goblet that I bought from a second hand store for $1.00, I have sure had fun with it. I filled it about 3/4 full of water and dropped a small cluster of grapes into it. Just as the grapes made the splash I triggered the flash to stop the splash. Other light came from a flashlight that I got free from Harbor Freight Tools. LYLE

Seniors Class Projects

These photos were taken during a class that I teach at the Taylorsville Senior Center. I have 8 students, all seniors (60 years old or older). We have a great time and even shoot some fun stuff. LYLE

Willow Pond Panorama

I just got a new (old) lens and this is the first time trying it. It is a Nikon 28mm PC manual lens. It is like a Lens Baby except it only shifts. It is to provide perspective correction so all lines are straight and true. It works great for pano's as you can see. There was no warping in the stitch at all. This is 3 shots and brightened up a bit in On1. LYLE
