This waterfall is in a fountain at a shopping center in Farmington, UT. Some friends went with us to eat at Johnnie Rockets and we took our cameras to shoot the fountain. There are colored lights all over it that light up the sprays of water that shoot up. I shot this in shutter priority, f/5.6, ISO 800, 100mm, for 1 sec. I have not processed the photo at all, just the way it came out of the camera. LYLE

Snow!
This is something I don't see very often this was on the ground when I got to Leighs. If you look you can see the ice sparkling on the snow that has formed as it is melting and refreezing. Brrrr, it was COLD!!! ISO 800 f14 1/1000 70mm

Red Head
I was out shooting with Leighs D90 W' 70-3OOIS lens and heard a Woodpecker,it took me awhile to find it. When I was going through my photos I spotted that it went in the hole (bottom photo) that is above the bird in the top photo. I had to crop both photos and adjust the exposure because I was bracketing my shots. top photo 1/400 f10 bottom photo 1/640 f10 both manual exposure hand held at 300mm Bruce
Blue Spruce Pine Cones

Daffodils and Strawberries
Playing with composition just a bit I moved the strawberry crock to help provide a backdrop for the daffodil. It seems to add some nice color and texture to the photo. LYLE

Budding Aspen
Look whats happening in my front yard! I know I showed you a photo of the snow fall from just a few days ago but all has changed now. This is the Aspen tree standing at the corner of our house. I shot it with Ann's D70, 70-300 lens at 300mm, f/10, ISO 200 for 1/20 of a sec and hand held at that! I love the spring and am quite excited. LYLE
