Stairway in Charcoal

Another look at a house in Georgetown, VA. This 5 shot HDR was okay in color but was too busy, after turning it B&W I layed a white layer mask over a charcoal filter and used a ragged eraser tool to bring back the image. I set the opacity at 90% just to see the background a bit on the edges and then applied a gaussian blur at 4% to the entire image. LYLE

  1. I really enjoy a B&W when it is done right and this is done right! This has the look of an old photo when all you could shoot B&W.I guess the snow is keeping you inside working on your computer. Bruce
