St Joseph the Worker Catholic Church

I was on my way home and drove past this new Catholic church. It is quite a modern building so I decided to take a couple of shots of it. It was 6:00 pm so it was dark, I set it up at ISO 400, shutter priority, 1.6 seconds and took the picture (not HDR). I can not tell you what the various spaces are used for, but it is interesting. Iron Gates

This Catholic Church stands in the Lower Garden District of New Orleans. It was built way back in the late 1700's and is one of three that are right across the street from each other. There was a competition to see who could build the tallest spire, this one won. All three of them are now owned by the Catholics but were initially different denominations. This is a HDR using my 10-24 wide angle lens. LYLE

Pulpit at The Madeline

I was never happy with this image because it was just a bit off with the perspective. I cropped it using the perspective function and straightened it out. It is a 5 capture HDR of the pulpit area of the Cathedral of the Madeline.

Cathedral of the Madeleine

This is an interior 5 shot HDR of the Catholic Church's Cathedral here in SLC. It is very difficult to photograph due to the dark colors and low lighting level. Even using HDR it is hard to get it right.  LYLE
