Gates of Temple Square

This is sort of a unique shot of the SLC Temple. It is a 5 shot HDR that is actually in full color on a rather grey day. LYLE

Twin Falls Temple

I really enjoyed taking this photo. It is a 5 shot HDR. I took the first shot and the shutter stayed open for 13 seconds! The shortest one was for 2 seconds. You can see the auto head and tail lights on the street between me and the building. I have never been able to tone map night skies and this one was no exception so I used exposure fusion and it came out looking like this. You can even see some of the sunset in the background. I was really excited about the whole experience. LYLE

Provo Temple

This is where Judi and I were married 38 years ago. We were happy to have our seven children together last friday (not our anniversary) there to be with Nich and Danelle while Eliza was sealed to them, the adoption is now final. I also wanted to show you that I can take an HDR and bring it in 'normal'. This building is too sacred to mess with in the tonemapping process. LYLE

SLC Temple on a snowy morning

I just couldn't help myself this morning as I was coming in to work. Like the next one the sky is a little boring but the rest of it overcomes it. A 5 shot HDR, I did bump up the colors just a bit.  LYLE

The Lights of Temple Square

This is just a small sampling of the more than one million lights that adorn Temple Square each year. They start putting them up in September, it takes about 2 months to get it all done. They are turned on just after Thanksgiving. It is truely a sight to behold. This is a 7 shot HDR. A wonderful little boy stood right in front of my camera as I was shooting, he really thought he was in the picture.  LYLE
