The Cecret is Out!

This view of Cecret Lake is another 5 shot HDR and heavly tonemapped and saturated. Sometimes I like these while on other shots I am not too sure about them. I liked this one enough to post it. LYLE

SHHH....Its a Cecret

This is an HDR of Cecret Lake at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon. It took about all of me to get there, very steep switchback trail that is only a mile hike but rises a bunch all at the end of the trail. I even carried all of my gear up there just to be able to take only 2 HDR photos when the battery died and no backup. Oh well, I will just have to go back one day. LYLE

Oh, couple a bucks maybe

I wasn't sure if they wern't discussing thier next move to get away from this crazy photographer. As we were leaving the Cecret Lake trail head these two guys were in a meadow just off the road. I used the car as a 'blind' so they wouldn't get too nervous about me and also used it for a tripod to steady my camera as I was zoomed way in to get the shot I wanted. Aperture priority, f/5.6, ISO 110, zoom 250mm and shutter 1/30 sec. LYLE

Lunch with a Moose

This Bull Moose was eating lunch along the trail to Cecret Lake (that is pronounced 'Secret'). I was about 30' from him, too close for comfort but I took about 50 shots of him, this one I liked the best. I shot it with my 70-300 lens at 100mm, f/5, ISO 140 and shutter 1/30. LYLE
